Brooke Williams and Jay Smartz were married June 21, 2008, at Swan Garden of The Inverness by Rev. Chris Mohr.

The bride is a daughter of Steve and Carol Williams, Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Parents of the bridegroom are Jim and Nancy Smartz, Sharpsville.

Maid of honor was Brittany Williams, bride’s sister.

Jamie Butler, groom’s sister, was best woman.

A reception was held at Aspen Terrace of The Inverness.

After a honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii, the newlyweds live and work in Denver.

Mrs. Smartz received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado School of Mines.

Her husband served as a commissioned officer in the Army and graduated from Allegheny College, Meadville.
