NILES — While his club was preparing to board a bus to return to the road, Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ skipper Travis Fryman hardly had time to savor his squad snapping a 4-game homestand skid.
“This is a difficult game to play,” Fryman, the former 13-year Major League Baseball veteran ruefully acknowledged following his Scrappers’ 12-4 New York-Penn League win over Batavia’s Muckdogs.
