ä West Middlesex 15, Commodore Perry 49 — At Sheakleyville, the visiting Ms. Reds rolled, led by winner Kristen White (21:35).
ä Hickory 15, Sharon 48 — At Hermitage, Lexi Bible (20:39), Jackie Abraham, Bailey Brown, Haley Boyd and Ciera Sonoga took the top 5 spots for the Lady Hornets.
Delaney Ser finished 6th for the Lady Tigers.
ä Slippery Rock 15, Reynolds 50 (forfeit) — At Transfer, the visiting Lady Rockets rolled, led by Lauren Dietz (27:12.2), Reynolds’ Candi Arnold (25.:05.9) led the Lady Raiders, who did not field a full team.
ä Sharpsville 15, Kennedy Catholic 50 (forfeit) — At Buhl Farm Park, the Blue Darlings won the forfeited meet. Sharpsville’s Maddie Przcina finished 1st in 22:12; Jessica Garcia turned in a 28:18 clocking, but KC did not field a full squad.
ä Greenville 28, Wilmington 29 — At Greenville, the Lady Trojans’ Maddie Thrasher posted a time of 21:07 to take 1st place. Wilmington’s Rikki Brumbaugh finished runner-up.

ä West Middlesex 20, Commodore Perry 43 — At Sheakleyville, Commodore Perry’s Nate White won in a time of 18:30, but the visiting Big Reds recorded the next 9 placewinners, led by runner-up David Johnson.
ä Hickory 18, Sharon 43 — At Hermitage, Logan Griffen (18:02), Kyle Boyd and Kevin Jancsar swept the top 3 spots in leading the Hornets past the Tigers. Cody Buchanan finished 4th for Sharon in 18:38.
ä Slippery Rock 15, Reynolds 50 (forfeit)— At Transfer, Slippery Rock’s Caleb Bickel outlasted Reynolds’ Justin Pago, 20:31.8 to 21:12, but the visiting Rockets rolled. Reynolds did not field a full squad.
ä Kennedy Catholic 15, Sharpsville 50 (forfeit) — At Buhl Farm Park, Billy Flynn flew home 1st in a time of 19:13 to key Kennedy, while Mike Vannoy (23:36) led Sharpsville, which did not field a full team.
ä Greenville 26, Wilmington 31 — At Greenville, Mercer Martin clocked in at 19:04, followed by teammates Dylan Foley and Matthew Hecking, as the Trojans edged the Hounds. Jared Thomas finished 4th for Wilmington.
BOYS GOLF
Coach Pat Forese’s Grove City squad placed 4th on Tuesday in the Region 3 Mega-Match at Blueberry Hills Golf Course in Warren.
Meadville won with a 322 (5th score tiebreaker), Warren had a 322, Slippery Rock carded a 340, GC had a 350 and Oil City finished with a 374.
Meadville’s Zack Ford earned medalist honors by carding a 73. Matt Gordon led Grove City with an 84.

ä Sharon 4, Oil City 0 — In the season-opener at Tiger Stadium, Emma Levitz scored a pair of goals and Alexis Jefferson made 5 saves in goal to record the shutout as Sharon blanked the Lady Oilers.
Hannah Levitz and Mikaela Skiljo posted the other goals for Sharon. Skiljo and Karen Zajac notched assists.
ä Hickory 6, Wilmington 0 — Under the lights at Hornet Stadium, Jackie White and Sara Suler both had hat tricks as the Hornettes opened the season with a victory over the Lady Hounds.
Isabella Spadafora posted 2 assists for Hickory while White and Mary Kathryn Bair had 1 each.
Casey Zreliak notched the shutout in goal. She made 5 saves.

ä Keystone 3, West Middlesex 1 — At West Middlesex, the host Ms. Reds suffered a loss as the 2nd-year program kicked off the 2012 season.
Kaitlyn Beck scored for WM off an assist from Sarah Mild. The Ms. Reds outshot Keystone 26-13.

ä Commodore Perry 2, Slippery Rock 1 — At Slippery Rock, David Jeffries celebrated his 17th birthday by recording both goals in the Panthers’ victory over the Rockets.
Jeffries notched a goal in the 1st half and then snapped a 1-1 tie in the 2nd half. Kinser DeMarco made 8 saves in goal for CP.
Cole McCandless scored Slippery Rock’s lone goal in the 1st half.
ä Mercer 6, Karns City 0 — At Lamor Road Field, Will Juergens scored a pair of goals as coach Ryan Hoffman’s Mustangs defeated the 3-time defending District 9 champs.
Nathan Breese, Matt Juergens, Alex Shaffer and Trenton Fowler scored the other goals for Mercer.
Fowler, Chase Hoffman, Zach Kroll and Preston Hoover all had assists and Alan Rabold posted the shutout in goal as the Mustangs outshot KC 23-1.
