Wilmington coach Paul Smargiasso said he has been working his team harder than any others that he took into the District 10 playoffs in recent years. Obviously, that extra hard practice is paying off.
Besides winning their first D-10 title, the Lady Hounds have had to go extra innings the last two games to advance into today’s PIAA Class AA semifinals against Philipsburg-Oceola at 4:30 p.m. at Brockway High field.
