Grove City finished 2nd on Monday in the Region 3 Mega-Match at Meadville Country Club. The linksters were able to get the match in before the rain showers hit western Pa.
The host Bulldogs won with a team score of 323, GC had 343, Slippery Rock took 3rd with a 347, Warren shot a 351 and Oil City had a 379.
Grove City’s Ben Lucas earned medalist honors with a 73 while Slippery Rock’s Brett Rinker and Nathan Sandberg of Warren both carded 77s.

ä Grove City 5, Franklin 0 — At Grove City, coach Jared Henshaw’s Lady Golden Eagles improved to 3-0 with the sweep of the Lady Knights.
Abby Casalnova, Meredith Trent and Reba Duran picked up singles’ wins for Grove City while the doubles duo of Alexis Delligatti and Stephanie Krofcheck won at No. 1 doubles.
