Coach Craig Antush’s Hickory High girls golf team secured another Region 2-A crown by virtue of Monday’s mega-match.
At Hickory VFW, Hickory had 185 strokes to outdistance both Reynolds (233) and Rocky Grove, though the Lady Orioles did not field a full squad.
Rosy Hearns’ 40 led Hickory, which will play at Rocky Grove next week in its final mega-match of the season, Antush said.
