Championship series all-star games were played in the District 2 Little League Junior Division (14-Under) and Minor Division (9-10) Saturday night.
JUNIOR DIVISION
ä Sharon 9, Sharpsville 6 — At Sharpsville, the visitors came out of the losers bracket to win and force a final title tilt. Justin Stefanowicz was the winning pitcher, with relief from Nick Carlo and Robbie Rice. Kevin Yarabinec and Joey Flynn pitched for Sharpsville.
For Sharon, Stefanowicz aided his cause with a double and single, Josh Nichols and Jarrell Lampkins each rapped a pair of singles, Mike Songer powered a homer and Rice ripped a double. For Sharpsville, Ross Llewellyn had 2 singles, Taylor Lenzi doubled and Flynn, Derrick odem, Joe Gill and John Pallo each singled.
MINOR DIVISION
ä West Middlesex 10, Greenville 3 — At West Middlesex, the hosts rolled to the title. Josh Porterfield went 5 1/3 innings for the win, allowing only 1 hit, while fanning 5 and walking 6. Carl Hoover finished up. Levi Gill, Ethan Reiser and Cole Kusich hurled for Greenville. Leading the winners at the plate were Cade Franks and Cameron Prebble with doubles, Marshall Murray 2 singles and Porterfield a single. Josh Hittle had the lone hit for Greenville.
