JUNIOR DIVISION (13-14)
ä West Middlesex 14, Lakeview 5 — Christian Porterfield homered and ripped a pair of singles in leading WM over Lakeview on Sunday. Also for WM, Nate Anthony and Dillon Fair doubled and Kyle Gilmore had 2 singles. Mike Ginther, Jeremy Jancso and Jesse Nych combined on 4 strikeouts and gave up 7 hits. For Lakeview, Derrick Giovengo suffered the mound loss. All 7 Lakeview hits were singles by different players.
ä Sharon 6, Hermitage 1 — At Hermitage, Nick Carlo collected 11 KO’s in 6ì innings to gain credit for visiting Sharon’s victory, and helped himself by stroking a pair of safeties, as did Leo Rahn. Also, Mike Songer slapped a double and Vinny Shaffer, who recorded the final out in relief, and Cody Frazier fashioned hits. Carlo drove in 3 runs. C.J. Roberts, Joey Hines and Jason Gay took turns on Hermitage’s hill, while Hines doubled and Xavier Howze and Adam Kostka connected for hits.
ä Sharpsville 15, Reynolds 4 (5 inn.) — At Sharpsville on Sunday, Joey Flynn ripped 2 triples and a double and Kevin Yarabenic and Taylor Lenzi combined to pitch a 3-hitter with 8 strikeouts to stake Sharpsville. Also, Bryan Stafford had 2 doubles and Ross Llewellyn, Jacob Pallo and Jake Bulick singled. Paul Torok and Tyler Thompson pitched for Reynolds, and Torok and Kellon Gursky singled.
MINOR DIVISION (10)
ä Greenville 16, Grove City 6 (4 inn.) — At Greenville on Monday, GC scored 6 runs in the top of the 1st inning, but Greenville came roaring back, scoring 5 in the 1st, 8 in the 2nd and 3 in the third. For Greenville, Scott Sicoe, Cole Kusich and Trap Wentling all had 2 singles, Levi Gill collected 3 singles, Brady Kalchthaler doubled and singled and Blake Reynolds, Ethan Reiser and Josh Hittle each added a hit. Reynolds fanned 6 and walked none in 3 innings and only allowed 1 hit in earning the mound victory. Devin Reynolds, Colton Eccles and Tanner Glenn all singled for Grove City.
SENIOR DIVISION (14-U)
ä Grove City 12, Greenville 5 — At Greenville Sunday, the winners pounded out 10 hits and rode the armm of Mathew Gordon who pitched all 7 innings. Lucas Houpt took the mound loss, while Kendall King, Daniel Addison and Braden Gladysz also pitched. GC hitting was led by Kyle Bell, 3-for-5 with a double, Mackenzie Patterson 2-for-4 with 3 RBI. For Greenville, Matt Jones homered, Tyler Fattman tripled and Gladysz doubled.
MAJOR DIVISION (12)
ä Greenville 8, Hermitage 5 — At Hermitage Sunday, Andy Jones fanned 8 and only allowed 3 hits as Greenville topped Hermitage. Jones helped himself at the plate by smacking a homer and triple, Black doubled and Gentile, Emmett and Gladyz singled. Evan Baughman struck out 6 and allowed 7 runs on 5 hits in the loss. For Hermitage, Baughman homered, Jake Andrzejewski doubled and Brady Leunis, Pat Moldovan, Matt Porreco and Brandon Rhoades singled.
ä Greenville 13, Grove City 3 (5 inn.) — Andy Jones belted a 2-run homer and Lou Emmett and Alex Gentile hit solo shots as Greenville beat Grove City. Also for Greenville, Josh Johnson ripped 3 singles and T.J. Fisher added 2 singlets. Emmett fanned 4 and gave up 4 hits to earn the win. Hodge was tagged with the loss for GC. Offensively, Simoni smacked a 2-run dinger, Craig doubled and tripled and Budnik added a 2-bagger.
Correction — The names of two Farrell all-stars, Andre Campbell and Tyson Andrada, were mispelled in information submitted to The Herald and printed in the paper.

SHARON FARM (9-10)
ä Sharon Elks 18, Brookfield Yankees 17 (7 inn.) — For the Elks, Jaquan Waller hit a home run and singled, Aaron Nichols doubled and singled and Maxx Palisin and Frank Shaffer had 2 hits each. Nichols, Shaffer and Palisin shared time on the mound. For the Yankees, Summerfield doubled and had two singles, Hiner had 4 singles, Bailey and Evans had 3 singles each and Hyman and Alfredo added 2 singles. Hiner, Evans and Summerfield worked the hill.
ä ’Lube 13, Elks 10 — For The Lube, Mar’Ryon Hopson and Marko Nakich each had 2 hits, Tyrese Howell tripled and Isaac Connelly, Andre Rodriguez and Nate Ritchy shared mound duties. The Elks were led by Max Palison, Aaron Nichols, Jaquan Waller and Austin Kirk at the plate with 2 hits each. Nichols, Waller, JP McComb, JJ McGhee and Griffen Johnson all took turns on the hill for the Elks.
ä ’Lube 13, Diamond Doors 12 — The Lube was led at the plate by Hopson, with Dalton Thorhaur, Isaac Connelly and Tyrese Howell contributing key hits. Niko Augustine, Howell and Connelly shared pitching duties. Diamond Doors was led at the plate by Nick McClimans, triple; Mikey Piccirilli and Joseph Faber, doubles, and Braden Hoover, double and single. Faber, McClimans, and Piccirilli shared mound duties for the DD.
MERCER COUNTY JUNIOR (13-14)
ä Sharon Kiwanis 8, Sharpsville Rays 3 — At Buhl Park, the duo of Leo Rahn and Justin Stefanowicz stymied the Rays. Rahn recorded 5 strikeouts and Stefanowicz struck out a pair. Also, Rahn ripped a dobule and Josh Nichols notched a pair of base hits.
S. Piston and J. Lenzi split time on the hill for the Rays, with Piston producing a trio of punch-outs. The Rays had no extra-base hits.
ä Sharon Kiwanis 5, Hermitage 1 — Rahn ripped 2 hits and tossed 5 frames of scoreless, 4-hit ball, whiffing 3. Also, Dallas Taub tattooed a two-bagger and Paul Spondike supplied 2 innings of relief.
Roberts and Marzano pitched for Hermitage, with Roberts recording 3 strikeouts. Beatty and Schumacher stroked a pair of safeties apiece.
