• Money was stolen June 30 or July 1 from an apartment in the 200 block of East Pine Street, police said.
Hempfield Township
• Tiffany Bulboff, 36, Shenango Street, Greenville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday at Hadley and Williamson roads, police said.
Police said Bulboff, a passenger in the car, had eight crack pipes, syringes, spoons with residue and a glass bowl.
Hermitage
• Daveena M. Thorne, 45, of 704 Greenville Road, Salem Township, has been charged with simple assault for shoving a co-worker during an argument over who was assigned a medicine cart at 3:10 p.m. June 22 at John XXIII Home, 2250 Shenango Valley Freeway, police said.
Thorne told police she tripped over the victim’s foot and did not intend to shove or injure her, police said.
• Phillip M. Trinchese, 36, of 4012 Kara Court, Hermitage, has been charged with simple assault and harassment for punching a woman in the head and face several times and kicking her in the face at 8:21 a.m. July 5 in the 2000 block of King Drive, police said.
• Adam W. Matthews, 19, of 506 Reynolds Road, Pymatuning Township, and Noah T. Rombold, 18, of 2779 Woodhill Drive, Hermitage, were each charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for fighting because Rombold was angry with Matthews for texting Rombold’s girlfriend at 11:55 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Mount Hickory Boulevard, police said.
Pymatuning Township
• Jimmy L. Ritenour, 26, and Malissa A. Russell, 30, both of 3553 N. Hermitage Road, Pymatuning Township, have been charged with simple assault for fighting at 7:42 p.m. Sunday at home, police said.
Southwest Mercer County Regional
• Glen E. Hopkins, 34, of 930 Fruit Ave., Farrell, has been charged with making terroristic threats for coming out of his house with a gun, pointing it at a woman’s head and telling her he was going to blow her head off at 9:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
• Daniel N. Mukaabya, 25, of 803 Market Ave., Farrell, has been charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats for punching a woman in the head, taking a kitchen knife from her hand that she was using to cut potatoes and telling her he would cut her with it at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street, Farrell, police said.
State police
• A Hermitage man managed to avoid a chunk of concrete that fell off the back of a cement truck but not another vehicle traveling on Interstate 376 in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, police said.
Police said eastbound vehicles driven by Joseph G. Nero, 54, of Hermitage, and Frederick McClain, 79, of New Castle, were traveling side by side on I-376 when the crash occurred at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.
Nero swerved to avoid the concrete and his vehicle hit the McClain car, which traveled into the median, rolled and stopped on the north berm of the westbound lanes, police said.
McClain and his passenger, Stanley C. Verenski, 78, also of New Castle, were treated at the hospital of Jameson Health System, police said.
• Various items were stolen from a truck between 4 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday in Plantation Park, Findley Township, police said.
• Nicole L. Metz, 24, of Mercer, and Deuwayne J. Metz, 26, of Greenville, were cited with harassment for fighting at 12:45 p.m. July 3 in the sub-100 block of Kirkland Drive, Lackawannock Township, police said.
• Krystal R. Kirsch, 21, of Balut Road, Fairview Township, has been charged with aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment for trying to stab a man with a kitchen knife at 1 p.m. Monday at home, police said.
DRUNKEN DRIVING ARRESTS
Hermitage
• Dwight E. Ravenscraft, 41, of Farrell or Hermitage; at 10 p.m. July 5 in the 1900 block of East State Street, where he was found passed out in his car in a fast-food restaurant drive-through; also charged with driving without a license.
• Jeffrey L. Gessler, 53, of 224 S. Mercer St., Greenville; June 17 in the 1700 block of North Water Avenue, where his motorcycle was found crashed in a yard at 3:04 a.m. He was found at home by Greenville-West Salem Township police. He also was charged with failing to notify police of an accident and a lane violation.
