Brookfield

• David W. Metze, 22, of 543 Cleveland St., Masury, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court from Trumbull County Eastern District Court at about 4:15 a.m. Monday after a woman told police he became violent, broke down a door and chased her, police said. Police said the door in question was not broken in, so Metze was picked up on the warrant and not charged in the alleged fight.

• Willie Kirk, 47, of 1954 Buckeye Drive, Sharpsville, was arrested at about 2 p.m. Sunday on a warrant for unpaid fines from Warren, Ohio, and then charged because police said they found a small bag of marijuana in his pocket.

• Albert W. Barnette, 35, Columbus, Ohio, was charged with obstructing police and an open container violation after he wouldn’t provide identification to officers investigating a suspicious vehicle at 4:45 a.m. Sunday at 8151 Addison Road, police said.

• Michael L. Fisher, 50, Greenville, was picked up at about 8 p.m. Friday at Joshua and Manor Drive in Wingate Manor on a warrant from Sharon, police said.

Grove City

• Steven A. Johnson, 22, Grove City, was arrested on a bench warrant at 1:15 p.m. Friday for failure to appear in court, police said.

Hempfield Township

• Someone broke into a vehicle parked Thursday at a Hadley Road business, causing about $850 in damage, police said.

• Clifford Zuschlag, 33, Lancaster Avenue, Greenville, was charged with theft of leased property for failing to return a roof nailer he rented in December from Oakes & McClelland, 40 Conneaut Lake Road, police said. As of Monday, Zuschlag owes $1,765 in rental fees and the cost of the nailer, police said.

State police

• Justin G, Wells, 19, of Jamestown, has been cited with underage drinking for being drunk at 3:35 a.m. Thursday in the Jamestown Lions Club parking lot, Jackson Street Extension, police said.

• Buddy Root, 32, of 557 New Castle Ave., Sharon; at 2:08 p.m. Friday at routes 18 and 60, Shenango Township, on a warrant for failing to make payments.

• Durrell Ford, 23, of 139 Shenango Blvd., Farrell; at 1:10 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Wallis Avenue, Farrell, on a warrant for failing to make payments.

• Alonzo Jackson, 44, of 2093 Revere Drive, Hermitage; at 2:28 a.m. Saturday on Ohio Street, Wheatland, on a warrant for failing to make payments; also charged with driving under suspension.

• Dwayne Jordon, 23, of 500 Wallis Ave., Farrell; at 4:38 a.m. Saturday at Indiana Avenue and Sharon-New Castle Road, Farrell, on a warrant for failing to appear in court
