Brookfield

• Wayne A. Stratter, 25, of 411 state Route 7, Apartment F, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments Wednesday on Warren Sharon Road. Police were investigating the theft of a Blackberry when they discovered syringes and other drug paraphernalia on Stratter and at his home after it was searched.

Sharon

• Michael J. Riley, 18, of 656 S. Oakland Ave., Sharon, was cited for harassment at 3 p.m. Wednesday at East State Street and South Oakland Avenue, police said.

State police

• New Wilmington Livestock Auction, 2006 Mercer-New Wilmington Road, Wilmington Township, was broken into between 9 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Nothing appeared to be taken, but a door lock and large window were broken, and the office was rummaged through, police said.

• A dog is missing following a break-in of a garage between Monday and Wednesday on South Main Street, Sandy Lake, police said. A door was broken into and blood, possibly from the dog, was found at the scene, police said. It is unknown if the dog ran away or was stolen, police said.

• Kayla M. Nieder, 19, of 393 Lake Wilhelm Road, New Vernon Township, has been charged with burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief for arguing with a woman at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 19 at 145 Tent Hill Road, Mill Creek Township, breaking a door and punching the woman in the head about five times, police said.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARRESTS

Sharon

• Susan Burns, 52, of 100 W. Ridge Ave., Sharpsville; at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday at King Street and South Oakland Avenue; also cited for driving under suspension.

State police

• Cheyanne Schenck 29, of Jackson Center; at 6:51 p.m. Saturday on Springfield Church Road, south of Route 62, Jackson Township, after her sport-utility vehicle went into a ditch; also charged with a lane violation, speeding and careless driving.

• Cassandra L. Owens, 40, of 762 Morrison St., Sharon; at midnight Thursday at home.
