Brookfield
• Norman Hetrick, 43, of 8157 Addison Road, Masury, was charged with criminal trespassing at 9:12 p.m. Monday, police said.
Police said Hetrick was at a property in the 300 block of Bedford Road and was repeatedly stabbing himself. He was admitted to Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, police said.
• Owners of Yankee Run Golf course, 7160 Warren-Sharon Road, reported 25 used golf cart batteries stolen between July 27 and 31. The batteries were behind a service garage, police said, and valued at $1,500.
• A 19-year-old man was charged with domestic violence after an incident at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday at 7897 Rose Ave., Masury, police said.
Police said Henry Cook IV was at the residence causing damage and hit a woman there. She went inside and tried to hold the door closed to keep him outside, but he pushed the door open and pushed her around, police said.
Grove City
• Police said a window at the Sidley Concrete plant, 521 College Ave., was broken between July 26 and Thursday. An estimate of the damage wasn’t available.
• A tan golf cart was reported stolen from 228 N. Broad St., between July 13 and 15, police said.
Sharon
• The cause of a Wednesday fire on the West Hill is listed as undetermined, said fire Chief Terence Whalen.
Whalen said a state police fire marshal found “no good strong point of origin” for the fire at 576 Logan Ave. There is wiring in the area but it wasn’t hooked up to anything, Whalen said.
The fire also wasn’t suspicious since no one was home and the residents had no insurance.
• Jeffrey Sanata, 33, of 451 McCleery St., Apartment 3, Sharon, was charged with fraud for reporting two televisions and a laptop computer from Rent A Center stolen in June when he sold the items, police said. Sanata turned himself in Wednesday morning, police said.
• Tonya L. Seaborn, 38, of 263 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged with simple assault after she scratched a man in the face during a domestic dispute, police said.
• Overnight Tuesday someone broke into a garage in the 500 block of Columbia Street and stole three fishing rods, two speakers, two amplifiers, four chrome rims and a toolbox with various hand tools, police said.
State police
• Joseph D. Slater, 32, of Sandy Lake, was hurt when his SUV hit a drainage culvert and a utility pole then rolled over and landed on its wheels at noon Wednesday on East State Street in Jefferson Township, police said.
Slater was treated at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System for moderate injuries and cited for a lane violation, police said.
• Police said someone broke into a home in the 1900 block of Perry Highway, Delaware Township, between July 28 and Wednesday and rifled through a 24-year-old woman’s belongings.
• Jacob Sterling, 18, of Mercer, was cited for criminal mischief, harassment and underage drinking after he drove into a yard at Latonka and Mohican drives on Monday, police said.
