Hermitage

• Joshua L. Custer, 22, of 1 Fulmer Lane, Sandy Lake Township, has been charged with forgery and theft for forging a relative’s name on five checks from a closed account and issuing them for $322 between Oct. 27 and Dec. 14 at four Hermitage businesses, police said.

Sharon

• Robert G. Mainor, 33, of 770 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged with robbery, theft and simple assault at 10 p.m. Friday after he pushed and punched a woman in his home and stole her cell phone and $200 from her purse, police said. Mainor left before police arrived and police said they found him shortly afterward in the 300 block of East Budd Street.

• Trivoune R. Craig, 22, of 516 S. Oakland Ave., Sharon, was charged with loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief at 1:16 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of New Castle Avenue after a woman called police because he was outside her home and he broke a neighbor’s fence as he tried to flee, police said. There was also a warrant for Craig for driving under suspension, police said.

• Teyonnia Campbell, 22, of 416 Prospect St., Sharon, was cited for harassment at 8 a.m. Friday at East State Street and Oakland Avenue, police said.

• Shawn A. Rainey, 33, of 1229èN. Sharpsville Ave., Sharon, was cited for harassment at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Sharpsville, police said.

• Elthea L. Marshall, 45, of 353 Walnut St., was cited for harassment at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at home, police said.

• Someone between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday threw a brick through the window of a vacant house in the 600 block of McCleery Street, police said.

• Someone on Saturday stole a bag containing about $700 in wrestling gear from a Mercer Area School District van parked near Sharon High School, police said.

Police were called at 8 p.m. for the theft, which included three singlets, headgear, shoes, a sweatsuit, wallet and an iPod. The van was thought to have been locked but students were in and out of it during the day for the regional wrestling tournament, police said.

• Someone over the weekend stole $950 worth of items from a 25-year-old man’s storage space in the basement of an apartment complex in the 200 block of Stambaugh Avenue, police said. Tools, a stereo and 10 packs of diapers were taken, police said.

• A neighbor called police at 5:30 a.m. Monday after seeing a man carrying two stained-glass windows from a vacant house in the 300 block of New Castle Avenue, police said.

Police were not able to find the man.

SW Mercer County Regional

• Alysia N. Grayson, 20, of 2861 Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Shenango Township, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for biting a man’s arm when he tried to prevent her from grabbing his cell phone at 10 p.m. Wednesday at home, police said.

• Damian D. Scott, 19, of New Castle, has been charged with possession of marijuana for having a cigar filled with pot at his feet when the car in which he was riding was stopped for a traffic violation at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 60 southbound near state Route 18, Shenango Township, police said.

State police

• A Mercer-area man was hurt when his southbound car hit a sign and two guardrails at 2:39 a.m. Sunday on state Route 58, Findley Township, police said.

John R. Mathieson, 38, was listed in good condition Monday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Mathieson was treated at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township.

• Two tents, three propane bottles and a ladder were stolen between 10:30 a.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Jamestown Lions Club, Jackson Street Extension, police said. Two doors were pried open, police said. Police said an earlier break-in was reported there Feb. 23 or 24.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST

Sharpsville

• David Sincich, 43, of 1920 Rettig Drive, Hermitage; at 9:02 p.m. Friday after a three-vehicle accident at Mercer Avenue and Hazen Road in which another driver, Michael Swartz, 21, of Sharpsville, was injured; Sincich was also cited for driving with the highest rate of blood alcohol content and careless driving.

WARRANT ARRESTS

Sharon

• Tamara Brockman, 26, of 64 Cathedral Court, Farrell; at 6 p.m. Friday on a warrant for harassment.

SW Mercer County

• Jada Keller, 26, of 391 Alderman Ave., Sharon; at 2:16 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Fruit Avenue, Farrell, on a warrant for failing to pay fines.
