Police, Fire from March 13, 2010

Sharon

• Marcus Hall, 37, of 1102 Beechwood Ave., Farrell, was charged with intimidating a witness, retaliation against a witness and harassment after he broke into a man’s home and threatened him March 1, police said. Police said hall has been charged in four incidents involving the victim since Jan. 30.

Hall was arrested on a warrant Friday morning and taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post bond.

State police

• Harry’s Inc., 512 W. Main St., Sharpsville, has been cited with a liquor violation for making too much noise Nov. 14 and Dec. 19 and 20, police said.

WARRANT ARRESTS

Greenville-West Salem Township

• Derek Means, 27, of 9 E. Ridge Ave., Greenville; picked up Wednesday. Police didn’t say where he was found or who issued the warrant.

• Nathaniel Castia, 23, Hermitage; picked up Wednesday. Police didn’t say where he was found or who issued the warrant.

• William Ohle III, 27, Greenville; picked up Wednesday in Greenville. Police didn’t say who issued the four warrants against him.

Sharon

• Terry Thomas, 53, of 834 S. Oakland Ave., Sharon; at 11:55 p.m. Thursday at George Street and Oakland Avenue on a warrant from Southwest Mercer County Regional police.

• Emily C. Curlee, 48, of 730 Sherman Ave., Sharon; at 11:17 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of East State Street on a bench warrant.

Mercer County sheriff

• Jason Laverty, 32, Walnut Street, Sharon; picked up Friday for failure to appear in court.
