Police, Fire from July 9, 2009

Hempfield Township

• A Fredonia Road resident reported Wednesday afternoon a generator worth $600 was stolen from their unlocked garage, police said.

• Someone stole a purse containing about $200, credit cards and personal information Tuesday morning from an unlocked home on Leech Road, Sugar Grove Township, police said.

Sharon

• Someone overnight Tuesday stole a DVD player worth $150, a cell phone and 40 CDs from two vehicles parked in a driveway in the 300 block of Forker Boulevard, police said.

State police

• A Grove City-area man was injured when his pickup hit a tree at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday on Irishtown Road, Pine Township, police said.

Police said Daniel D. Dick, 48, was taken to Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, for treatment of moderate injuries, although a hospital spokeswoman said he was not brought there.

Dick was southbound just south of state Route 208 when he suffered a medical condition and went off the road, police said.

• Ebony L. Davis, 26, of 817 Market Ave., Farrell, has been charged with theft, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for breaking a car window and stealing a coat from inside at 10:53 p.m. May 28 in the 700 block of Idaho Street, Farrell, police said.

The victim is the same woman Ms. Davis allegedly beat Friday with a small baseball bat on Emerson Avenue, Farrell, police said. The victim said she had argued with Ms. Davis over a guy, police said.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARRESTS

Greenville-West Salem Township

• Ronald Eugene Bungar Jr., 42, Kinsman Road, West Salem Township; Sunday near 62 W. Main St., Greenville.

SW Mercer County Regional

• Maleia P. James, 57, of 63 Erie St., West Middlesex; at 10:22 p.m. June 29 on Main Street, West Middlesex, after she was seen driving over a curb on Short Street onto a lawn, backing across a curb, lawn and sidewalk on Erie Street and hitting the apartment building where she was arrested; also charged with parking on a sidewalk.

WARRANT ARRESTS

Sharon

• Aaron Abram, 23, of 1149 Spearman Ave., Farrell, and Amber Diefenderfer, 23, of 110 Walnut St., Sharpsville; at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday each on warrants for burglary after a laptop was stolen June 20 from a home in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue.
