Grove City

• Someone stole a black Honda dirt bike with yellow decals worth $3,500, a $650 motor, and a 5-gallon gas can between 12:30 and 9 a.m. Saturday from a home in the 700 block of Spring Street, police said.

• A group of four boys about 16 years old were seen June 30 trying to get into cars in the 200 block of North Broad Street and the 300 blocks of North Center and State streets, police said.

Two pair of glasses, a Nintendo DS portable video game system, and accessories all worth about $650 were stolen from cars parked along McConnell and North Broad Street that night, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Sharon

• Two people were hurt when a car ran a red light and struck their vehicle and caused it to roll over at 9:38 a.m. Saturday at East State Street and Sharpsville Avenue, police said.

An eastbound car driven by Bozena Kijowski, 51, of Irwin, Pa., hit a southbound vehicle driven by James Calhoun, 63, of Hermitage, police said.

Police said Calhoun’s vehicle rolled onto its roof and he and passenger Catherine Calhoun, 65, of Hermitage, were trapped inside. They were freed by Sharon firefighters and taken to UPMC Horizon, Farrell, by ambulance.

Ms. Kijowski, who was not hurt, was cited for running the red light, police said.

• Norita S. Harris, 39, of 238 Mesabi St., Sharon, was cited for harassment at 12:03 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Malleable Street, police said.

• Irvin Hampton, 35, of 238 Mesabi St., Sharon, was cited for harassment at 12:35 a.m. Thursday at home, police said.

• Ahmad L. Williams, 41, of 900 Wallis Ave., Farrell, was charged with criminal trespassing and public drunkenness at 3:20 a.m. Thursday on Stambaugh Avenue, police said.

• Joseph C. Difrischia, 52, of 958 N. Stateline Road, Sharon, was cited for failing to obey train signals and driving under suspension at 10:24 a.m. Thursday at Silver and Main streets, police said.

• Michael A. Lee, 19, of 1318 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, was charged Friday on New Castle Avenue for retail theft and false identification to law enforcement, police said.

• Demetrius Clark, 25, of 210 Logan Ave., Sharon, was charged with harassment and criminal mischief at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot at 155 W. Connelly Blvd., police said.

• Debra A. Wallace, 30, of 1660 Hannah Court, Sharon, was cited for harassment at 8:47 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Hannah, police said.

Sharpsville

• Tracy L. Sarcinella, 36, of 1427 Ridge Ave., Sharpsville, was treated at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after her car hit two parked cars and then rolled over about 2:30 p.m. Saturday on 7th Street near Milliken Avenue, police said.

SW Mercer County Regional

• Derek A. Atwood, 43, of 817 Spearman Ave., Farrell, was charged with possession of marijuana after the drug was found in his vehicle at 2:48 p.m. June 2 on Indiana Avenue, Farrell, police said. The vehicle was stopped because it was seen leaving the scene of a fight in the 1000 block of Sharon New Castle Road, Farrell, police said.

• Ebony L. Davis, 26, of 817 Market Ave., Farrell, was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and terroristic threats, police said.

Ms. Davis reported to police at 12:41 p.m. that her car had been vandalized and made threats, police said. Police said they told her to let them handle it or she would be out in jail.

Twenty-two minutes later, police detained a vehicle in which Ms. Davis was a passenger on Emerson Avenue near Lisa Lane, Farrell, police said. The vehicle was seen leaving the scene of an assault, police said.

A woman reported that Ms. Davis and several unknown people pulled her out of a vehicle and Ms. Davis beat her in the head with a small wood baseball bat, police said.

Someone pulled the bat away from Ms. Davis and she chased the victim after the victim ran, police said. The victim went into 612 Stevenson St., and Ms. Davis kicked the door, damaging it, police said. Ms. Davis was unable to enter, but went to a parked car and threw a brick at a window, breaking it, police said.

State police

• Kenneth Evan Bigony, 45, Hubbard, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:25 p.m. June 11 near a Mahoning Township, Lawrence County, home, police said Monday.

Bigony went to the home for help after his vehicle stalled in a quarry and he was seen throwing a marijuana pipe in the grass, police said.

• Aaron Johnson, 31, of 3178 Madeline St., Sharpsville; at 12:54 a.m. Saturday on River Road.

Sharon

• Matthew C. Skarica, 23, of 2019 Landay Lane, Farrell; at 10:01 p.m. Saturday on Russell Street after his car drove into some hedges; also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

• Jesse N. Mathis, 45, of 430 S. Irvine Ave., Sharon; at 6:09 p.m. on a warrant from Hermitage police for forgery.

• Shane Reese, 28, of 3612 Ivanhoe Road, South Pymatuning Township; at 11:24 p.m. Thursday on Pitt Street on bench warrants.

• Edward G. Thomas, 43, of 378 Logan Ave., Sharon; at 10:52 a.m. Friday at home on a warrant for harassment.

• Michelle R. Brooks, 43, of 148 W. State St. Apartment 6, Sharon; at 2:16 a.m. Sunday on a warrant from the Mercer County District Attorney’s office for absconding parole.

• Melissa M. Capuzzi, 21, of 1278 Baldwin Ave., Sharon; at 11:40 p.m. Sunday at home on a warrant for making false reports.

• Crystal L. Watt, 45, of 330 Sterling Ave., Sharon; at 9:10 a.m. Monday on a warrant for making false reports.
