---- — Lois Joan Peterson of Sharon passed away at 10:51 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. She was 77.

Mrs. Peterson was born May 3, 1933, in Greenwood Township, Geneva, Crawford County, to Chester B. and Margaret C. Anthony Hall.

She graduated from Conneaut Lake High School.

Mrs. Peterson worked as a storeroom attendant for 23 years at the former Howell Industries, Masury.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sharpsville and enjoyed crafts, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Harry L. Peterson, passed away Oct. 30, 1994.

Surviving are: two daughters, Kimberly Santoro and her husband James, Brooksville, Fla.; and Linda Bishop and her husband Paul, Sharpsville; a son, Todd Peterson and his wife Marcia, Vienna; two sisters, Norma Jane Perrine and Juanita Walls, both Conneaut Lake; a brother, Robert C. Hall, Meadville; four grandchildren, Jill Kristine Hampton, Aaron James Santoro, Alyssa Joan Bishop and Zachary Michael Peterson; and four great-grandchildren, Clayton, Kristine, Tanner and Parker Hampton.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gerald F. Peterson; and three grandsons, Jack Michael Peterson, James Gerald Peterson and Jeffery Russell Peterson.
