Elmer E. Reiter of 8230 Superior St., Masury, passed away at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. He was 77.
Mr. Reiter was born Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1933, in Patagonia to Elmer A. and Bertha V. Barrett Reiter.
He retired from the maintenance department of JAS Fabricators, Warren, Ohio, and previously owned Abe and El’s Garage on Lincoln Street, Masury.
An Army veteran, Mr. Reiter served as a corporal in the Vietnam conflict.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sharon, and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and working on cars and airplanes.
Surviving are: two sons, Elmer Reiter and his wife Linda, Sharon; and Ken Reiter and his wife Debbie, Texas; two daughters, Patty Lopez, Masury; and Linda and her husband Jim Rice, West Middlesex; a stepdaughter, Robin and her husband Michael Zandarski, Austintown, Ohio; three sisters, Joan and her husband George Shardy, Brookfield; Bonnie and her husband James Charles, Sharon; and Janet Hetrick, Hadley; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Reiter was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Todd A. Reiter.

Interment: West Side Cemetery, South Pymatuning Township.
