Jacqueline Renee Bruce, Hermitage, passed away Sunday (3-10-13) in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 41.
Ms. Bruce, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Jackie Bruce,” was born Dec. 30, 1971, in Sharon, a daughter of Patricia Ann Bruce and Henry “Butchy” Holden.
She was a 1991 graduate of Farrell High School and was employed by Diversified Family Services in Hermitage. She worked for several years as a direct care giver throughout the Shenango Valley.
Jackie often dedicated her spare time working with her family’s business, TNT’s Hair Explosion, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a talented jewelry designer and often displayed her designs at various craft shows.
Her angelic spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving parents and her grandmother, all of Farrell; her companion, Tony Stargell, Cleveland; a sister, Tanavia Hodges, Upper Marlboro, Md.; two nieces, Tyann Hodges, Farrell; and Tatiyana Hodges, Upper Marlboro; a nephew, Sharif Hodges, Upper Marlboro; a goddaughter, Amira Hasan, Sharon; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Holden; and grandfathers, Henry Bruce and Memphis Holden.
