Keith Alan Gardner, 36, of 2610 Longview Road, Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 3 a.m. Friday (8-17-12) in his residence.
He was born Aug. 21, 1975, to Raymond and Christine (McCauley) Gardner in Sharon.
He was a graduate of Sharon High School. He worked for the past 20 years as a stock clerk for Giant Eagle in Hermitage.
On May 21, 2004, he married his wife, Dawn Hunter, who survives at home.
Keith was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was a car enthusiast and won several awards at car shows. His favorite pastime was music and playing Rock Band on X-box. He was an Ohio State football fan.
In his younger years Keith played baseball for Sharon Little League and was part of the 13-year-old Senior Division team that took runner-up in the state championship.
Keith is survived by his parents, Raymond and Christine, Farrell; his loving wife, Dawn; a grandmother, Jeanette McCauley; his father-in-law, Skip Hunter; and 10 aunts and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Harriet Hunter.
