Lucy M. Ferreri, formerly of Bears Den Road in Youngstown, passed away peacefully late Wednesday evening, Feb. 6, 2013, in Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage. She was 86.
Mrs. Ferreri was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Girardville, Pa., a daughter of Dominic and Mary Gareffa.
She moved to Youngstown in 1949 and relocated to Hermitage in 2003.
Mrs. Ferreri was a graduate of Butler High School in Ashland, Pa., and became a homemaker who dedicated her adult life to raising and caring for her family.
Lucy was a member of St. Brendan Church in Youngs-town and its Altar & Rosary Society.
She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, gardening and jigsaw puzzles. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Her husband, James E. Ferreri, whom she married Nov. 24, 1949, passed away May 27, 1996.
Lucy leaves a daughter, Donna and her husband Nick Miladore, Boardman, Ohio; two sons, Joseph Ferreri, Los Angeles; and Tony Ferreri and his wife Maurita, Hermitage; four grandchildren, Nicole, John, Chris and Lauren; a great-grandson, Ryan; and two brothers, Dominic and Joseph Laspina.
Besides her husband, Lucy was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Ferreri.

Interment: Will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown, where Lucy will be laid to rest next to her husband.
