CROWN POINT, Ind. – William L. Pearson Sr. of Crown Point, formerly of West Middlesex, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, in Crown Point. He was 79.
Mr. Pearson was born Jan. 11, 1933, in West Middlesex to Ray and Blanche Gulentz Pearson.
William was a retired steelworker from Wheatland Tube Co., with 25 years of service.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by: seven children, JoLee and her husband Walt Hadaway, Ariz.; John Pearson and his wife Gale, Crown Point; Roy Pearson and his wife Jessica, California; Ron Pearson and his wife Pam, Texas; Cathy and her husband Tim Smith, Virginia; and Linda Farley and David Pearson, both Pennsylvania; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Pete Pearson, husband of the late Marge; and a sister, Wendy and her husband Chris Thomas, all Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his son, Billy; a sister, Dora Mae Kretchek; and his parents.
