A funeral service will be held Thursday for Richard A. Schuster of Clark. He passed away at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. He was 83.
Mr. Schuster was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Farrell to Andrew and Mary Bobish Schuster.
He was a graduate of Farrell High School, class of 1947.
Mr. Schuster retired from Wheatland Tube Co., where he was a machinist.
He was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in Farrell.
Mr. Schuster served in the Navy and Marine Corps as a corpsman from 1947-50.
His wife, Grace Bennett Schuster, whom he married Feb. 5, 1955, passed away Feb. 24, 1993.
He is survived by: his daughter, Mary Kaye Schuster Cohen, Howland, Ohio; two sons, Richard C. Schuster, Liberty Township, Trumbull County; and Stephen S. Schuster and his wife Pamela, Mooresville, N.C.; a brother, Andrew M. Schuster, Hermitage; seven granddaughters, Heidi Cohen, Israel; Jennifer Cohen, Howland; Rochelle Cohe, Sharon; Rachael Schuster, Tara Schuster and Abby Schuster, all Liberty; and Ava Schuster, Mooresville; and a great-grandson, Lucas.
Besides his wife, Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
