Photographer's Best 2009 - Jason Kapusta
Once again another year has passed, and after digging through hundreds of photos I finally picked my favorites from 2009. There are many factors that played into why I chose these as my best. How good is the image? Was it a special moment? Was it a moment I'll never forget? In any case, I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, and I look forward to another year of searching all over Mercer County for more.

Friday's forboding weather forecast for Shippensburg University and environs was not promising. And it seemed as though a dark cloud hovered over Mercer County's contingent during early events at the annual PIAA Track & Field Championships. But Mercer County's collective mood brightend considerably -- literally and figuratively -- by early afternoon as a pair of throwers, Hickory High's Emily Woods and Wilmington's Brad Zaboroski, garnered gold in the discus and shot put,respectively.
