GREENVILLE —
Without admitting guilt, an 18-year-old accused of threatening a teacher earlier this year in the hall at Greenville High School has reached a plea deal and prosecutors will not pursue the original charges filed against him.
Nathan E. Pisor, 18, of 346 Hadley Road, Lot 81, Hempfield Township, entered a no contest plea in Mercer County Common Pleas Court to a charge of simple assault. He was facing misdemeanor charges of making terroristic threats and possessing a weapon on school property.
Pisor entered his plea last week. No date has been set for sentencing.
On Feb. 29 Pisor was at school and in the hall between first and second periods when science teacher Kris Chapman asked Pisor to move. According to court papers Pisor told Chapman “F--- you,” and after several more requests for Pisor to move, Chapman put his hand on the student’s shoulder. Pisor responded, “F--- you. I will f---ing kill you.” Pisor told the teacher he was lucky the two were in school “because I would f---ing kill you,” and that once school was dismissed, “I will kill you. I swear to God I will f---ing kill you.”
Greenville-West Salem Township police said Pisor had a razor blade with him at the time.
The incident happened just two days after a gunman killed three students in Chardon High School in Ohio. That incident again heightened school security issues nationally.
