Local man killed in one-car crash

WEST MIDDLESEX AREA — A West Middlesex-area man was killed in a one-car crash Tuesday in Hubbard Township, Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Mark A. Patrick, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene, on Route 304 in Hubbard Township, police said.

Patrick’s car was eastbound just west of the Pennsylvania line at 10:25 p.m. when he failed to make a slight left curve and the car hit a tree, police said.

He was not wearing a seat belt, police said. Blood was drawn so that toxicology tests could be performed.

Patrick’s death is the 31st traffic fatality in Trumbull County this year, police said.
