LACKAWANNOCK TOWNSHIP —
A 23-year-old New Wilmington woman was killed Friday night when the all-terrain vehicle she was riding struck a fencepost, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
Santana Marie Riethmiller died from the injuries she sustained in the crash that happened in a wooded area along Riethmiller Road, Lackawannock Township, according to a police report.
Troopers at the Mercer barracks had no additional information Saturday and said the accident is still under investigation.
The accident happened at 11:18 p.m., police said.
