A patrolman spotted the red truck Bakunas was reported to be driving after it ran a stop sign and pulled into the parking lot of another Standard Avenue bar, police said.
When asked if he had a gun, Bakunas told police he had one in the waistband of his jeans that he wanted to sell, police said. Police searched him and found a loaded Beretta 9-mm semi-automatic pistol.
Bakunas was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, having a firearm inside a liquor establishment, using a weapon while intoxicated and running a red light, police said. He was taken to Trumbull County Jail.
