GREENVILLE —
The mother of the 17-year-old boy killed after Sunday night’s three-vehicle crash in West Salem Township was listed in critical condition Tuesday.
Jamie Saxion, 38, Birch Drive, Hempfield Township, was seriously injured in the crash that claimed her son’s life and sent her husband David Saxion, 40, and daughter Morgan, 11, to the hospital.
Mrs. Saxion has multiple broken bones and possible internal injuries that will require at least a few surgeries, police said.
A nursing supervisor at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, where James Saxion died two hours after the crash, confirmed Mrs. Saxion’s condition Tuesday night.
