NEW WILMINGTON —
Three Westminster College students were arrested Sunday when they were found in a building in the 300 block of East Neshannock Avenue without permission, borough police said.
A patrolman saw that a piece of plywood had been torn away at about 3 a.m. and called for backup, police said.
Police entered the building and found Patrick J. Dever, 22, of Salt Lake City. He said no one else was in the building, but police later found Anthony J. Mazzocchi, 19, of Shippenville, Pa., and Nicholas R. Hainsey, 19, of New Paris, Pa., police said.
All three were charged with burglary and criminal trespass. Dever was charged with hindering apprehension for telling police that no one else was in the building; Mazzocchi with possession of Adderall without a prescription; and Mazzocchi and Hainsey with underage drinking, police said.
