SHARON —
A Sharon man entered guilty pleas Monday in cases filed by Hermitage and Sharon police.
Omarr J. Hughes, 20, of 268 Malleable St., pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary in the Hermitage case, which consolidated charges in four burglaries from Aug. 10. 2011, and receiving stolen property in the Sharon case, stemming from an incident Nov. 30.
Hermitage police said Hughes and Laven T. Davis, 19, of 130 Smith Ave., Sharon:
• Entered an unlocked apartment door in the 300 block of Rexford Drive and stole 10 sports jerseys and a pair of shoes. The items were recovered.
• Stole $42 from a purse and two cans of lemonade from a home in the sub-100 block of South Kerrwood Drive. The purse was moved from inside the house into a garage, and the cans were found in bushes.
• Stole $11 from a purse in a home in the 100 block of South Kerrwood. The purse was found in bushes. Keys also were taken and a car appears to have been gone through.
• Entered an open door of a home in the 100 block of South Kerrwood and going through a car. Nothing was taken.
Charges against Davis are pending.
Davis and Hughes were arrested in Sharon with jewelry taken from the Rexford home, and previously pleaded guilty to a Sharon charge of receiving stolen property.
Hughes still has a separate burglary case filed by Sharon police pending in court.
