Sharon
I have had more than enough of liberals calling people like me names because I don’t share their point of view. I am not a racist, uneducated, low-IQ, sour-grapes, hate-group, talking-head spewing redneck!
One thing that has become evident with these liberals and their tirades is just how afraid they really are. Fear will cause another human being to behave in such a distasteful, disrespectful, and degrading way.
I wonder how many of our tea party attendees Lynn Saternow and Gregg Buchanan had conversations with. Do they know the real purpose of the movement? Or are they just making your own conclusions based on the misinformation you have received?
In my mid-thirties, I will never see the benefits of my Social Security, which I have been paying into since I was 15, and here is Saternow suggesting that I relinquish what I have earned for my own so he can enjoy retirement. And just so he is aware, we have been here making our voices heard for a great many years, even during the precious Clinton years when he gave our economy away with NAFTA.
The difference is more Americans are discovering the truth of what is going on behind closed doors and now, because of our numbers, it is harder to ignore us. Before Buchanan tells anyone to take a step back, maybe he should have a look in the mirror.
He suggest that Democrats are open and willing to hear all points of view and yet in the very same paragraph he labels all Republicans as low IQ, talking-head nitwits who don’t even know their own federal tax rate. Is that open lines of communication?
He talks of a reduction of taxes on all Americans making under $250,000. Is he aware that the tax imposed on cigarettes was increased by 159 percent?
When he or any other name-calling liberal wants to have a real conversation and debate about the issues, come and find me. Let’s just see how willing they are to hear opposing points of view.

We citizens of the United States, and I say “united” loosely, are whistling past the cemetery at midnight afraid of what might be lurking in the cemetery. I don’t know what is wrong with people allowing politicians to destroy our country. - Letters to the editor
