Mercer County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold the following blood drives this week:
• 12:30 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Red Cross, 517 W. Main St., Sharpsville.
• Noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon.
• Noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Road, Hermitage.
• 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at Greenville Alliance Church, 63 Conneaut Lake Road.

Central Blood Bank will hold the following blood drives this week:
• Noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 12 Pine Grove Village Drive, Pine Township.
• Noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Greenville Plaza West, Hempfield Township.
• Noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at 12 Pine Grove Village Drive, Pine Township.
• 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenville Plaza West, Hempfield Township.

Flu shots
Greenville Medical Center of UPMC Horizon, 90 Shenango St., Greenville, will host an adult seasonal flu vaccination clinic for its patients from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 18.
Vaccines are for clinic patients age 18 and older. Those who come to the clinic for flu shots should wear short sleeves and bring their insurance cards. Patients planning to attend the clinic should check with their insurance providers to see if the cost is covered. If insurance does not cover the vaccine, the cost is $39.
