Marcelline M. Steck

Greenville homemaker was of Methodist faith


Marcelline M. Steck, formerly of 357 Maysville Road, West Salem Township, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, in White-Cliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township. She was 85.

Mrs. Steck was born Dec. 17, 1927, in Cochranton, a daughter of Louis and Mary Bailey Carrara.

On July 25, 1947, she married Earl N. Steck Jr.; he preceded her in death Oct. 10, 2009.

Marcelline was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by: a son, Earl N. Steck III and his wife Bonnie, Greenville; a daughter, Anna May Sauln and her husband Glen, Allegany, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Steck was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ida McCaughtry and Eleanor Vogan.
