CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Lillian Bingman of Chesterfield, formerly of Sharon, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, in Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield. She was 84.
Mrs. Bingman was born July 31, 1925, in Sharon to her parents, Hubert and Hilda Evans Gray.
Lillian was a 1943 graduate of Sharon High School and attended Bowling Green State University and Detroit University, earning a bachelor’s degree in music education.
Mrs. Bingman was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She was a retired elementary school teacher and music teacher.
Lillian was very active in music, belonging to many local choral groups and community music theaters, participating in church soloist activity. She enjoyed choral and classical musical, as well as solving crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Bingman was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Sharon, where she also sang in the church choir.
Lillian is survived by: her husband, Glenn Bingman; two daughters, Christy Hoppe and her husband Rick; and Cathy Bingman and her husband Kirk Tennant; her grandchildren, Ashlyn Brigham, Benjamin Bingman-Tennant, Gavin Shelton, Brittany Bingman-Tennant, Bryton Bingman-Tennant and Bishop Bingman-Tennant; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service: Funeral services were held Wednesday (11-18-09) in the chapel of SAMPLE-O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME Inc., East State Street at North Oakland Avenue, Sharon.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
