Delmar M. Keeley of 66 Sherrard Ave., Greenville, died at 5:14 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. He was 87.
Mr. Keeley was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Greenville to Peter and Isabelle Cooper Keeley.
He was a 1940 graduate of the former Penn High School in Greenville.
He was employed for 38 years at Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad, Greenville, retiring in 1982 as a steamfitter.
Mr. Keeley served three years in Africa and Italy during World War II.
His wife, the former Georgine Perrine, whom he married Nov. 27, 1947, preceded him in death Aug. 12 of this year.
He is survived by a brother, Wayne Keeley; and a sister, Dot Melvin.
Mr. Keeley was preceded in death by his parents.
