Margaret Malarchik Kelecseny of 332 Beechwood Ave., Farrell, passed away peacefully at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in her residence after a brief illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Kelecseny was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Farrell to John and Mary Malarchik.
She was an alumna of Farrell High School and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Margaret was a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Sharon.
Her husband, Michael “Fats” Kelecseny Sr., whom she married Sept. 9, 1944, passed away April 30, 1990.
Surviving are: a daughter, Karen and her husband Michael Dyskie, Chicago; four sons, Michael Kelecseny Jr. and his wife Lynn, Brentwood, Calif.; Joseph Kelecseny and his wife Carol; and Patrick Kelecseny and his wife Mary Kay, all Hermitage; and Gerald Kelecseny, Farrell; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Annie Kamerer; three brothers, John, Michael and Albert Malarchik; and her best friend, Wanda Dolata.
