---- — Barbara J. Bossick of 969 Mercer-New Wilmington Road, New Wilmington, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, in Hospice House of the Valley, Poland, Ohio. She was 55.

Mrs. Bossick was born April 9, 1955, in Greenville to Stanley and Lois Palmer Reimold.

She was an alumna of Reynolds High School, class of 1973.

Barbara was a senior procedure clerk at the controller’s office of Mercer County Courthouse, where she worked for 35 years.

She was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, New Hamburg; and the Ladies Auxiliary to American Legion Post 919, Fairview Township.

Her husband, Dean Bossick, whom she married Aug. 29, 1987, survives at home.

She also leaves two brothers, David Reimold and his wife Nancy, Fredonia; and Richard Reimold and his wife Tracy, Transfer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (5-7-10) and noon to time of service Saturday (5-8-10) in SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex.

Service: Funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Oerter of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, New Hamburg, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
