Margaret Cimperman Armellini of Plano, Texas, formerly of Farrell and Little Rock, Ark., passed away Sunday (8-31-08) in Plano. She was 84.
A daughter of the late Frank and Ann Bicek Cimperman, she was born Oct. 3, 1923, in Farrell.
A graduate of Sharon High School, she was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Little Rock.
She married the late Ferdinand F. Armellini in September 1945 in Little Rock.
She worked for the U.S. Department of the Army during World War II. After retiring in 1984 from the Internal Revenue Service, she managed the Arkansas Craft Gallery in the Excelsior Hotel in Little Rock.
Mrs. Armellini moved to Allen, Texas, in 1984, and worked for Elan, a credit company.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Sara Armellini, Eureka Springs, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jim Thomasson, Wylie, Texas; a brother, Leonard Cimperman, Hermitage; a half sister, Mildred Cimperman, Los Angeles; two grandsons, Jeremy and James Thomasson, Wylie; two great-grandchildren, Sidney and Lana Thomasson, Frisco, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert “Duke” Cimperman; two half brothers, Edward and James; and a half sister, Rose Eastham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
