PITTSBURGH — Patricia “Pat” Bower of Pittsburgh passed away at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. She was 56.
Pat was known to her customers as “Mom” from her businesses, Chocolate & Chances and C&C News & Snax in 2 PPG Building in downtown Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Bower was born June 16, 1953, in Oakland, Calif., a daughter of retired Capt. R.E. Anderson of the Coast Guard and Georgeanne June Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband of 35 years, Tom, at home; her daughters, Mary, wife of Billy Tillman; and Christi, wife of Butch Martinko, all Pittsburgh area; and her son, Matthew Bower, husband of Michelle Iacino Bower, Sharon; her mother, Pittsburgh area; six grandchildren, Dakota, Zachary and Nathan Tillman; Ella Marie and William Martinko; and Michael Bower; her brother, Tom Anderson; her sister, Susan Steinhoff; and her mother-in-law, Ella Bower.
She also leaves her dog, Abbey.
Pat was preceded in death by her father.

Calling hours: 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday (5-7-10) and 11 a.m. to time of service Saturday (5-8-10) in JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
Service: Blessing service at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Interment: Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
