Paul E. Hoffman was called home on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, to be with his Lord and Savior. He was a resident at Trinity Living Center, Grove City, where he died after a long-term illness. He was 66.
Mr. Hoffman was born July 1, 1943, in Grove City to Lloyd L. Hoffman and Elizabeth Ferringer Hoffman.
Raised in Springfield Township, he was educated in Springfield Township and Grove City schools. He was a 1963 graduate of Grove City High School, where he participated in wrestling, among other extracurricular activities. He attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina for a year.
Paul was honorably discharged from the Navy.
He was single and never married.
Surviving are his sister, Nancy L. Hoffman-Montgomery and her husband James Montgomery, Ravenna, Ohio; a brother, Jack N. Hoffman and his wife Bernice, Reno, Nev.; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond L. Hoffman.
He always greeted people with such a wonderful sense of affection and caring.
Paul through his faith was always unashamed by his testimony for Jesus Christ, the only Savior. He loved witnessing to people from all walks of life about his faith. He attended First Baptist Church of Grove City.
