Helen Mogor, 169 Reiber Road, Lackawannock Township, died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday (7-8-09) in The Overlook nursing home, New Wilmington. She was 91.
Mrs. Mogor was born March 3, 1918, in Farrell to Michael and Anastasia Cordas Parcetic.
She graduated in 1936 from Farrell High School and enjoyed crocheting, drawing, flowers, sewing and music.
Mrs. Mogor was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Sharon. She was formerly involved in vacation Bible school and the Women’s Guild of the church.
A homemaker, she founded a community sewing club made up of many friends and neighbors that met over 30 years.
Her husband, Coleman Mogor, whom she married May 2, 1943, preceded her in death.
Surviving are: a daughter, Christine Anastasia Mogor; and a son, Gerald Michael Mogor, both West Middlesex; a daughter-in-law, Betty Mogor; a granddaughter, April Mogor; and two grandsons, Michael Mogor; and Raymond Mogor Jr. and his wife Kimberly.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald C. Mogor and Raymond J. Mogor Jr.; three brothers, George, Walter and William Parcetic; and five sisters, Vera Rajaich, Mary Morrison, Olga Sonoga; and two infants, Borka and Marcha Parcetic.
