James and Rachel Gorichky, West Middlesex, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sasha, to Daniel Oberheim, son of Albert and Betsy Oberheim of Harrisburg.

Miss Gorichky graduated from West Middlesex High School in 2000 and Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2004. She is employed by the Department of Public Welfare in the Bureau of Employment and Training Programs in Harrisburg.

Her fiancé graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1991 and Harrisburg Community College with an associate’s degree in microcomputer science in 2001. He is employed by the Department of Public Welfare, Bureau of Information Systems, Harrisburg. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

The couple are planning an August 2009 wedding at the Outer Banks, N.C.
