Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Gill of Sharpsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Gill, to Christopher John Chiota.
The future bridegroom is the son of Darlene Chiota of North East, Pa., and John Chiota of Erie.
Miss Gill graduated from Sharpsville Area High School in 2002 and from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy, Erie, with a doctorate in pharmacy. She is a pharmacist for Walgreens in Hickory, N.C.
Her fiancé graduated in 1993 from Cathedral Preparatory School, Erie, and from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. He is a pharmacist for CVS/Caremark in Morganton, N.C.
The couple became engaged on June 5, 2008 in Orlando, Fla., and are planning a May 2 wedding.
