Holiday events
• Weather permitting, today at dusk the I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, Karen Lane, Hermitage, will light about 500 luminaries. It will start at South Hermitage Road and Emilie Lane, and continue onto Karen Lane and around the church. This is the third year of the display.
• Animal Appeal, a pet education and rescue organization, is participating in the Iams Home for the Holidays Program. Iams has a goal of helping with the adoption of dogs and cats throughout the country, and for several years, Animal Appeal has been an adoption partner. Dogs and cats adopted through this holiday season will receive an adoption packet that includes a DVD on care, general information and a $10 coupon toward the purchase of Iams pet food.
