• The Vincent Methodist Church, Walnut St. Jackson Center, is having an appreciation dinner beginning at noon Dec. 13, to thank those that have helped in making the expansion of the church a success.

• Juniper Village at The Shenango Inn, 1330 Kimberly Road, Sharon, will honor the survivors of Pearl Harbor, their families and friends and those who died Dec. 7, 1941.
Participants will gather at 11 a.m. today on the front lawn for a dedication to fallen heroes by the local Honor Guard. The Rev. Douglas Dayton of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Sharon, will speak.
Lunch served in the Grand Ballroom.

Fundraiser
• UPMC Horizon operating room, central sterile supply, anesthesia services, and recovery room will host their annual Chinese auction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 11 in the cafeteria of the hospital in Greenville.
Tickets are $1 for three or $5 for 20. Participants may also receive one free ticket for each non-perishable food item donated.
All proceeds benefit the Good Shepherd Center, Greenville, and Helping Hands, Stoneboro.
Holiday event
• Pymatuning State Park Retirees and former employees, spouses and friends will gather for a Christmas party beginning at noon Dec. 16 at Rosie’s at the Gibson House, Jamestown.
Menu will be roast beef or turkey with dessert and beverage. Cost is $12 plus tax and tip.
