Central Blood Bank will hold these blood drives this week:
• All registered donors for the Central Blood Bank fall blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the American Legion in Sharon will receive two free movie tickets to Shenango Valley Cinemas. The Legion is located at 1395 E. State St. Call 1-866-DONORS-1 or go to www.centralbloodbank.org
• Noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at 12 Pine Grove Village Drive, Pine Township.
• Noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenville Plaza West, Hempfield Township.
Mercer County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold these blood drives this week:
• Noon to 6 p.m. Monday in Shenango Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars, 439 E. State St., Sharon. This is the annual Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh blood drive challenge. Donors will be entered into a raffle for an official limited edition Steelers Super Bowl XLIII Championships or Cleveland Browns autographed football. The drive is held in honor of Alexis Connors. • 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Mercer Methodist Church, 250 E. Butler St. Canteen by Springfield Grille.
• 1 to 6 p.m. Friday in Greenville Alliance Church, 63 Conneaut Lake Road, Hempfield Township. Individuals who donate blood or platelets from Nov. 23 to Jan. 10 are entered into a drawing for a 2010 NFL championship game package for two, including tickets, airfare and accommodations.
