• Dr. M. Craig Beaudis, a podiatrist with Ankle and Foot Care Centers and the UPMC Horizon Center for Wound Treatment, will be a guest speaker at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Mercer County Diabetes Support Group.
Dr. Beaudis will present information on ankle and foot care for diabetics.
The Mercer County Diabetes Support Group meets the second Monday of the month in Assembly Room A at UPMC Horizon’s, Greenville.

• Circle of Support, a support group for parents and families of children with kidney disease, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and the third Wednesday of each month at Panera Bread in Hermitage.

Fundraisers
• Friends of the Library are having a book sale from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28; 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29; and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31 at Community Library of the Shenango Valley, East State Street at Sharpsville Avenue in Sharon.

• Lakeview United Methodist Women will hold their annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at Sandy Lake Borough Building.
Lunch will be available for $4 and includes hot sandwich, soup and drink. Homemade pie will be $1.50 per serving. Vegetable or potato soup will be sold for $3.50 a quart.
There will also be a bake sale, white elephant and boots, coats, hats and sweaters.

• Sharpsville High School Spanish Club holds a fundraiser at Pizza Hut in Hermitage from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29.
Participants can purchase the buffet for $6.99 for adults and $3.99 for children ages 4-11.
A portion of the purchase price of the buffet and all the buffet tips go to help the Spanish Club raise money for club activities.
• Fredonia Presbyterian Church, Water St., serves a braised steak dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28.

• Falling Leaves Festival at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 103 Clinton St., Greenville, runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 31.
There will be an auction, country store, door prizes and lunch available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is free.
• The Kinsman Presbyterian Church bazaar and turkey dinner is set for Nov. 7 at the church, Church Street. Dinner from 1 to 5 p.m.; attic booth opens at 11 a.m.; ye olde emporium, candyland, bake shoppe and senior citizen’s booth all open at noon.
Cost for the turkey dinner is $8 for adults; $4.50 for children ages 4 to 11; and children younger than age 4 are free.

• The Friends in Faith Sunday School class at Coolspring Presbyterian Church will host their annual dinner and silent auction from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in the family life center. Auction winners will be announced at 7 p.m.
This year’s menu is pancakes and whole hog sausage for the cost of a donation.
Advance tickets are available by calling the church office at 724-475-3712. Tickets will also be available at the door on a first come, first service basis.
Proceeds fund class mission projects and purchase teaching materials.
• The annual bazaar for the Jameson Junior Guild will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 5 in the nurses’ residence in Jameson Memorial Hospital, Wilmington Road, New Castle.
Featured will be the Boutique’s hand-crafted items, Chinese auction, used books, bake sale, homemade candy, oversized queen quilt in star design in blues and white, New-to-You: White elephants, Danish, coffee and music.
• The Amity Presbyterian Church’s annual bazaar, bake and basement sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 31.
Vegetable beef soup will be available by the quart, in your container, as well as an assortment of homemade pies, bread, candy, cookies, fresh baked sweet rolls and more.
Lunch will be served throughout the day. There will be hot dogs, sloppy joes, hot chicken sandwiches, vegetable beef soup, pie and sweet rolls.
Also for sale will be gently used clothing, jewelry, furniture, toys, household items, books and many handmade crafts.
The church is located one mile west of Old Route 8, on Scrubgrass Road at Wesley, in Irwin Township, Venango County. Drive five miles north on Route 173 from Grove City, turn right on Scrubgrass Road, Amity Church is five miles east of Scrubgrass Road. Watch for signs.
This event will help support the church and other missions.
• Lakeview High School Students for Charity and Lakeview Educational Foundation are sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the cafeteria of Lakeview High School.
Cost is $7 for adults; $3 for children ages 3 to 10; and children younger than age 3 are free. Takeouts available.
