Community Health Partnership of Mercer County has coordinated a seasonal flu vaccine clinic schedule for residents of Mercer County at these times and locations:
• Grove City Walmart — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and Oct. 19 and 30.
• Hermitage Walgreens — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15. Call 724-342-4603.
• Sharon Walgreens — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15. Call 724-342-3291.
• Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 7 and 9 a.m. to noon, in Rooms A and B; and 5 to 7 p.m. in Rooms C and D.
• Greenville Walmart — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 7, 8, 19, 20
• Hermitage Walmart — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 9 and 10. Call 724-346-5930.
• McQuiston Center by the Park, Sandy Lake — 10:15 a.m. to noon Oct. 14.
• Harrisville United Methodist Church — 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

Those who should get annual seasonal flu vaccinations are children ages 6 months through 19 years; adults age 50 and older; people with certain chronic medical conditions; nursing home or long-term care facility residents; health-care workers; household contacts of people at high risk for complications from the flu; and household contacts and out-of-home caregivers of children younger than 6 months. No appointments are necessary. Most insurance plans will be accepted, however, individuals with specific questions regarding coverage may contact the site of the clinic for more information. Those individuals eligible for ACCESS should contact their personal physician to make arrangements to receive their flu vaccines.

Old school
