Meetings

• Any Hickory High School class of 1976 alumni interested in having a class reunion are asked to meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Quaker Steak & Lube, Sharon. Info: 724-699-2277.

• General Federation of Women’s Clubs members past and present are invited to a Three “Rs” luncheon to be held at noon July 11 at Jess’s Restaurant, Hermitage. The GFWC Mercer County Women’s Club invites you to reunite, reacquaint and reminisce with other area club women. Reservations: Barb Rickert, 724-981-5356 by Thursday.

• Wimodausis will meet at 12:30 p.m. July 9 in the west dining room of the Scottish Rite Cathedral. This will be a different kind of program, which you will enjoy. Reservations: Dorothy Bort, Fairmont Avenue or Judy Barron, East Maitland Lane, both New Castle, by July 5.



Fundraisers

• The Annual Ride 2 Provide, all wheels poker run and chicken roast, is July 12 at the Clark House. Registration is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; dinner served at 5 p.m. and FX Project live beginning at 5 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. There will also be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle. • A homemade ice cream supper will be 4 to 7 p.m. July 18 at Stony Point Grange, 69 Kremis Road, Delaware Township. Sandwiches and ice cream will be available to go. Details: 724-253-2155.

• A roast beef barbecue dinner will be served from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at Masonic Lodge 810, Neshannock Road and Route 62 in Hermitage. Menu includes BBQ roast beef, corn on the cob, white or sweet potato salad, beverage and dessert. Tickets sold in advance are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children younger than age 12. • Hickory High School class of 1947 holds its 62nd class reunion with a tour of the old Hickory High School, which is now the former middle school, at 3 p.m. and dinner at Jess’s Restaurant at 6 p.m. Sept. 19. Info: Rose, 724-962-2312; Jeanette 724-962-9766 or Fran, 724-962-7178.

• Mercer High School class of 1972 plans a gathering for Aug. 22. Kids stuff

• Pat Catan’s, Hermitage, will hold their “Jungle Safari” Kids Camp July 6-10 with morning and afternoon sessions.

Children will create a different jungle-themed project each day of the week. Cost is $3 per session, and includes all craft supplies and a snack. Info: 724-342-4570.
